I had a wonderful stay at Laurel Valley Resort, with stunning views of the mountains and a lovely, calming atmosphere. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, although there were a few hiccups that detracted from the experience. Overall, it was a good getaway with beautiful surroundings.

My room had a comfy canopy bed and a great bathroom, but the shower cleanliness was an issue. I enjoyed the unique decor, though it felt a bit heavy on the religious theme.

The staff was friendly and helpful, providing a great recommendation for nearby hikes. However, I was disturbed early in the morning by loud messages from the front desk.

Breakfast was tasty and the dessert by candlelight was nice. Just be sure to ask what's on the menu since it wasn't what was advertised in the room.

The grounds were beautiful, featuring a koi pond and cozy common areas, but the overall cleanliness could use improvement.

My stay at Laurel Valley Resort was a mix of wonderful experiences and some frustrating moments. On one hand, the stunning mountain views and the peaceful atmosphere were truly enjoyable. However, there were issues with communication and attention to detail that detracted from the overall experience.

I had a good stay at the Richmont Inn, where the accommodations and stunning views really stood out to me. The location in the heart of the Smokies is peaceful and perfect for nature enthusiasts. However, the lack of fine dining options nearby was a bit disappointing. Overall, I would rate my stay highly due to the wonderful staff and really good breakfast! 😊

The Stickley Room I stayed in had big windows and high-end bedding, providing a cozy atmosphere with stunning mountain views. A fireplace added a romantic touch, but it was a bit challenging getting down to the room from the parking lot due to the steep hill.

The staff at the inn were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my anniversary celebration feel special. They really went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience.

My stay at Laurel Valley Resort was quite enjoyable overall, marked by stunning mountain views and great service. The location was serene and secluded, which I loved. However, I did encounter some issues with food quality and room maintenance that could improve the experience. The staff's friendliness and willingness to help, especially in accommodating my needs, really stood out, making my stay nice despite a few drawbacks.

I stayed in a king room with a mountain view and a fireplace, which was a lovely touch. However, I expected the fireplace to be cleaner since it was summer. The private balcony offered stunning views and was a wonderful spot for relaxation.

The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. Ashleigh was particularly helpful during check-in, providing valuable local information. There was one instance where I had a mix-up with my reservation that was promptly resolved by Kelly, who ensured my stay was enjoyable.

The resort is beautifully located nestled into a hillside with great views of the mountains, close to Cades Cove. This area felt far less touristy compared to Gatlinburg, which was refreshing and allowed me to enjoy the national park's lush surroundings.
Dining

Breakfast was good, but there were some inconsistent experiences with food quality. I found the scrambled eggs lukewarm, and desserts were hit-or-miss, with one dessert arriving frozen. However, the evening dessert and coffee service was a pleasant touch, especially in the candlelit atmosphere.
Facilities

The facilities were acceptable, but I noticed areas needing attention, like the coffee maker not working after the first day and room maintenance issues like a broken toilet seat. Overall, improvements in upkeep could enhance the stay significantly.

I found the breakfast options limited and occasionally underwhelming, with some dishes seeming pre-made rather than fresh. I expected more from the food quality given the lovely setting.

Facilities like the pool and common areas looked charming but seemed neglected. The whole place could benefit from a little TLC to bring back its former glory.
